I drove past the country park entrance the other night and wondered if that’s the best parking spot for the beach. Does anyone have directions for walking from there to the beach, or is there a better place to park and walk. It seems a very nice area, just another thought anyone visiting there soon that could show me the way?

If you are referring to the one marked as Hastings country park on Google maps, it's the one I always use. At weekends you need to be there by 10 to be sure of a space. You can pay with Ringo, but I cannot top up from the beach, so have been fined for overstaying.
It's a lovely walk down from there, but a bugger of a climb back up. |
