Looking down the list it shows that just two people have viewed my profile this week since my subscription ran out and yet the my account page says 23 people have viewed. Why is that?
I expect from past experience that it certainly will not be 23 so why do they persist in quoting silly numbers - unless it's a not very clever attempt to get me to pay up to see who?
On the contrary, such trickery does do nothing to encourage me!! |

Yes I have to agree with you. My premium ran out months ago and since then it says I have had loads of people viewing my profile I never have that many any time.
Ploy to get you to renew, I will in my own time thanks.  |

The number is and has always been irrelevant given that the site privacy settings enable people to browse without showing on someone's 'who's viewed me' list. You'll never know how many people are looking.
And at the end of the day does it matter? People will look. But if they then make no contact what do you get from them looking?

OP, I think the 2 you see in "updates" are th esubset of the 23 overall viewers who are local to you.
I don't believe there's a gigantic conspiracy to misrepresent the numbmer of viewers.
YOu can test this for yourself. Next time you feel the inclination to pay your fiver, look at the number of views. After you've paid, and the number hasn't changed, go into the page and look at the list to check that it matches.

Last time I paid my several fivers the list did change and the two numbers were the same.
