Always, dunno if it's a bad thing though because I've essentially run through and stressed about every scenario in my head, so when something happens I've already overthought it and can handle it easier. Gives me gift of the gab so to speak and has helped me many times in job interviews because I'm never caught out by a surprise question I haven't already thought about 50 times

Stress is normal, over thinking things is normal and anxiety about things is normal. The best way too approach life is feel whatever you need to feel but anything out of your control, let it go.

Sometimes. I was awful for it a few years ago now. But I'm learning, slowly, to recognise and accept that it's more likely to happen when I'm in a low energy phase (a drop/hormonal changes) and not beating myself up about it nor allowing my mind to run free.

Sometimes you need a friend to call you a nob and tell you they still would. That really does stop overthinking.

I don't know what screened the messages means, apologies. In the gentlest way, other people don't have to be there for you - they might not have the headspace/energy/desire or ability to be.

Why not be your own friend? Look in to practicing mindfulness - being present in the moment can really help stop the background noise of overthinking. There's also meditation, it can help centre the chaos of your mind. You can allocate yourself a set time to ruminate on things and then move past it. Forget it. Occupy yourself with things that raise the dopamine level.

Mindfulness excercises and generally being more aware of my thoughts, taking a step back and asking "is this actually helping?". It takes a lot of practice but it's achievable. Listening to audiobooks keeps my mind focussed on something external and breaks the pattern of getting lost in a whirlpool of over-analysis.
