I trap mine in the bathroom and dunk thoroughly in the bath! 
Just don't open the door again till they've dried off a bit or you find unexpected wet patches all over for the rest of the day  |

I don't have a bath. I could try putting a wet towel over her. If it's big enough she might be too old and decrepit to get out from under. Or it might kill her. |
