"Clearing up other colleagues screw ups."

One reason I no long work in an office. Also non-technical people managing technical projects. Freelance is much better.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Smile, be polite & professional even when people say rude things to your face or even worse behind your back cos they are chicken and it's also inappropriate ....

I smile, act as if nothing happened whilst in my mind I have beheaded them with a sharp Samurai sword & their head has rolled away. Just like Musashi used to do before he wrote the 5 rings.

I cried today after a team meeting!

I felt like whatever I do isn't good enough for my team.

I didn't like today at work and really not wanting to go in tomorrow but will

Bristol

Go to bed early the night before

Wake up earlier than I want

Don't get to go back to sleep

Leave bed

Leave house

Drive through traffic

Arrive at work

Do work

Do work

Do work

Leave work (that I actually want to do)

Drive home through traffic again

Arrive home and finally begin MY day

Now repeat 5 days a week + Sundays being cut short for work looming ahead.

P.s I'm a student now so I'm no longer stuck in the grind like I was. But it will come around again

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

Sharing an office with an arrogant, ignorant, misogynistic cockwomble.

Luckily, my gorgeous work-bestie also shares the office, making my day bearable, as we both make each other howl with laughter.

Dealing with substandard IT and managers telling me what to do when they have never done my job or actually know what I do. In fact, this aplies to both of us

Peer review of colleague's work. Just do your job properly and it won't be needed

If you bend over backwards for your team, there are always some that will take advantage or see how far they can push you. Tomorrow, just tell them 'Right mofos, here's what is going to happen..'

I used to hate asking the boss if i could have time off for dentist, optician or doctor appointments. He was such a cock about it. Ffs, they don't always do evening appointments!
