I have a work colleague who has the annoying habit of calling to ask me things when “he/they” are only a few mins away, the signal is pretty poor in my area of Devon and the provider isn’t the best, 9 times out on 10 it’s something that could easily wait until they get here but it happens so much, just wish “He/they” would stop as it’s a waste of his and my time having a conversation that breaks up most of the time. |

Answer the call, ask if he's there, repeat it.
Mutter to yourself that the signal is terrible and hang up.
Do that a few times and I imagine the calls will stop. |

If it tends to be a certain time of day, put your phone on airplane mode for a short time.
Or during the call, press airplane mode, it'll end the call and if he tries calling back, it won't ring.
Just remember to switch it back. |
