Viewing an English Heritage site inside of the wire fence.

Or using the cafe/restaurant at an attraction rather than taking a packed lunch.

Fuck that brought back some old memories and the feeling associated. The bottles where so attractive to me as a kid but always told we can't afford.

I didn't get on a plane until I was 21 as holidays were always in a static caravan in the UK.

I remember in the early 70’s my mum boiling water so we could have a bath in a tin bath as the house we lived in didn’t have a indoor bathroom with running water .It was until August 1975 that we moved to a house with a indoor bath and running water

I didn't really think about richness as a child.

People got nice things before us, but they certainly weren't rich.

Maybe a castle, or palace.

Having your own bedroom. I was 15 when I no longer had to share a bedroom with my sister. Lots of my friends shared a room with their siblings but I was jealous of the ones that didn't have to.

That was me too lol Some of my friends had nicer clothes and more toys. I knew we didn't have as much money as them, but I never thought of them as rich.
