Yes, I hadn't had the car long.

Somebody was in it as well, I tried the handle, she looked terrified. Luckily my actual car was close, so I could explain the problem lmfao

Market Harborough / Kettering

Did it with my motorbike at Silverstone. My bike is not that common and has a bracket for fitting panniers so when I found a bike the same as mine in amongst about 2000 other bikes with the same bracket for the panniers I naturally assumed it was mine. I spent about 3 minutes cursing as someone had stolen my disc brake lock and put a scratch on the fairing! Mone was actually 2 rows over !!

I have done this more than once, with different cars. I tend to head for a small car, the same colour, in a similar place I think I parked it

I’ve actually walked out of shop and got in the driver’s seat of the wrong car to find an extremely confused elderly person in the passenger seat, luckily she actually found the funny side of the situation, for a split second I thought who is this is my car then the penny dropped when I seen my reg plate on the car in front !

Haven't done this, but when I had my Grey car I used to always loose it in a car park full of many other Grey cars...

No, but a similar incident.

I pulled up at traffic lights, in the days before central locking etc, and a fit girl threw herself in, passing comment how lucky it was I was passing. I replied, do I know you? The look of horror and startlement on her face, then she regained her composure, what are you doing in xxx car?

It's mine. I've had it for 2 years. Then she looked around and realised. Oops wrong car! She got out a damn sight quicker than she got in, with ooh terribly sorry etc.
