Anyone have little quirks that they know of or have been pointed out to them?
I'll go first, I sneeze in three's
I turn my dinner plate round full circle before I dive in
My bed has to be straight otherwise I feel off balance |

I used to spin a pen between my fingers during meetings until it was poured out to me
My work computer desk has to be set up so that I can work left handed, and I get irate if someone used my desk when I am away and messes it up!! I am ambidextrous, but I usually favour my right.

I'm autistic, I am one big quirk! According to other people, that is. We think we're normal
Most of my stims I do at home away from public eyes. Repetative hand movements is probably the most significant one. |

I do this thing where I pucker my lips for no reason and I'm not sure what the trigger is. Even my nephew picked up on it and started copying me.
Also, when opening a chocolate bar, I always have to open at the top wear the glue is stuck and open it along down the seam |

"When I'm stressed I clench my teeth, my new dentist pointed that out to me as I had no idea "
Get a bite guard, your dentist probably recommended one. The back of my front teeth is surprisingly worn away from it (the clenching, not the bite guard) |

"I often eat the items on my plate in ascending order of preference. "
My wife does this, I never understood it; why would you want to leave the things you'll enjoy most until you are full up and don't really wanna eat anything? |

Flip it around. Why would you want to spoil the taste of the good things by following them with the less nice things.
I always manage to eat everything off the plate. The secret is not to overload it. |

Is it ok to ask how you manage to turn off the stirs in public? Do you have to work at that? |

I do it too, it makes no sense as I do get full easy but it’s just something I can’t stop. |

We're all over the kink community too, I had never realised (mind you i never realised I was Autistic so you know ) that neurodiversity was so common in both communities or maybe they are just communities that encourage openness?
Anyway, quirks? Loads, I could singlehandedly take this thread up to 175 if I started listing them all |

When eating, I like a bit of everything on my fork, if possible and make sure I save the best bit of each thing for the last mouthful... I never sneeze just once... I hate people messing up my work space, especially the boxing area, it really pisses me off |

I don't like beans or tinned spaghetti sauce on fried eggs, they have to be away from each other on the plate.
Strong mints make me sneeze.
I usually sneeze in threes, two and then a gap till the third comes.
I only ever drink half a cup of tea. This annoys people greatly and no one understands it, not even me.
