I'm not feeling hot, even though it's slightly warm in my living room. Although I love the sun, I'm a bit concerned about heading to work tomorrow on the bus. Feel like pulling a sickie |

"It's 24C outside right now (10pm London). 29C inside on the top floor.
Wait till it hits 39/40C outside and then tell us if it's still bearable "
It's not due to get that high here, I feel for you. But you can mitigate it a bit. |

Only by hollowing out the freezer and getting in it.
I wonder how much of people's fuel payment is going to be eaten up by using fans 24/7 these next few days? |

I've posted quite a lot about how to manage warm weather. Fans are only one part of it. (I'm only running my fans at night) |

It's not just the temperature it's the change in the air. It's much denser, even now, even with the fan on. Got a feeling there's going to be a lot of hospitalisations in the next couple of days, esp heart patients and asthmatics. I have asthma, quite mild, but even I've started wheezing now.
Roll on Wednesday. |

Yes. I'm Australian, I'm used to high temperatures, and I'm taking defensive measures to manage. I suspect I'll do better than most because of life experience, but it's why I've said so much on the topic in the last couple of days. Hoping to help a bit. |
