If you've got a dehumidifier, even if it belches heat like mine, consider putting on for awhile after showering. The humidity makes it all worse

Should be cooler here on the coast. Wednesday onwards back to normal Summer temps. Keep cool folks and don't forget the birds and other small wild animals. Keep water troughs and bird baths full.

It’s actually quite pleasant up here in Merseyside today. Only 30C with a nice sea breeze.

Went for a lovely walk (and beer) before.

I do sympathise with you southerners today & next 2 days though, good luck

Go dogging..

Was out last night, 1 handjob, 2 blowjobs and a finale over a BMW bonnet to finish, didn't get home until 4:30am.

Was lovely and cool, just take some midge spray, stick some ice in your drink bottle and some good trance tracks on Spotify.

Just seen the uk 7pm weather update…. I am going to put this next sentence with loads of quotation marks around in it……just in case you want a bet on where the hottest part of the country may be

“Somewhere” around the Nottingham/south Yorkshire area “Retford/Doncaster ish” “could” now see a “maximum” temperature of “around” the 43 degree mark on Tuesday….

It’s the first time a 43 has shown up on a matteo/met office scan in the uk…

43 is firmly in the health and life threatening territory. (Yes, it happens in Spain etc. The Spanish know how to handle it and their infrastructure is different, this is *not* the case in the UK)

People, please be careful the next few days.

Carlos is the perfect name for a heatwave coming up from Spain, but you just know that some lone idiot would label it racist and it would have to be changed and a fulsome grovelling apology issued.

No, it needs an appropriate, descriptive, and culturally neutral name.

Heatwave Satan.

I’m to mow the lawns today. Probably time it so it’s between 11 and 2. but they have to be done.

If I do t log in here later, please send help.

I have more drinks bottles in the freezer than you can imagine. (All half filled lay on their side and I top up when I need them for a iced drink. )

Because the sun goes east to west the highest temperature is likely to be later in the day so somewhere between 4 and 6 in most areas! So stay in all day if possible… don’t think that it gets better later

P.s you know it’s going to hot when the weather forecast for Newcastle is now 31 for today and 36 for tomorrow!!!!

You can get cold water shock if you overdo it… that is why they suggest a lukewarm shower rather than a full on cold one!!!!

Right…. Knowing I probably won’t get much sleep tonight… off for a shower now.. I’ll probably have one in the middle of the night.. and one at 6am

"Are we the only one's enjoying this heat? "

From a medical perspective… not really… there is nice and warm even a little hot… and then there is it’s so hot my body’s cooling system shuts down and then it’s just not nice.. and not nice was a pleasant way of saying it

I was fine most of the days (probably because it was cool at work) got home… around 6 started feeling dizzy and a bit nauseous… more fluids and a pack of jelly babies later and started to come back round again

I describe it as the difference between summer and being 12 degrees above summer
