So who fancies it?

Let’s go for a walk in the sunshine … put the world to rights… soak up the vitamin D

Or cool off in an air con hotel room?

Or is everyone at work except me ?

Even I'm not up for outdoor play with the heat that's due

It doesn’t have to be outside play… it can be a walk in a shaded woods…. A walk along a river under the cover of trees…

All I meant was being outdoors on a day off

Manchester (she/her)

Not a bloody chance. I'll be avoiding the sun, inside as much as possible, and skipping the potential heat exhaustion and skin cancer.

My vitamin D comes predominantly in pill form and I don't need to cook myself to be healthy

Cook?

Only if you over expose. Avoid peak times for the extreme heat… sun cream …. Hat…. Umbrella … shade …. Lunch indoors….. fluids ….

Are skin cancer cases higher in hotter countries ? I’m curious about that

I'm from Australia and yes, we're the world capital of melanoma. (World beating!)

I'm beating my odds by staying out of the sun, and doing so without harming my vitamin D levels.

It's because of generations of people thinking it's cool to cook yourself. Baby oil and sunbake in haste, get melanomas removed at your leisure
