Depends on temperature, the colder it is the more dense the nitrogen is in the air as liquid nitrogen is blue (true conversation killer) then the more dense it is then the lower it needs to be to appear blue so that will be where it starts.

ain't physics fun

~~ The Troposphere begins at ground level and extends up to 17km above the Earth at the equator and 9km at the poles.

~~ Then comes the Stratosphere and extends from the Troposphere to roughly 51km from the Earth's surface. The Ozone layer is situated within the Stratosphere.

~~ Next up is the Thermospshere, this is the layer that in which the International Space Station orbits the Earth. It's height from ground level is between 320-380km.

~~ Lastly is the Exosphere, the outermost layer of Earth's atmosphere and it extends from the Exobase upward (the lower boundary of the Exosphere). The altitude of the exobase ranges from about 500 to 1,000km.

~~ There are other sub-layers, such as the ionosphere, which overlaps the exosphere and the thermosphere and forms the inner edge of the magnetosphere. The ionosphere is responsible for the Auroras (the northern and southern lights).

~~ There is one other layer that is only prevalent in December and only on one night, the 25th, and it is known as the Xmas Atmos. Without it we're all miserable fuckers.

Do you mean from the surface of the earth? If so, the troposphere is the lowest layer of atmosphere extending from the surface to the Tropopause, approximately 11km above sea level.

After the Tropopause you have the Stratosphere, then after the Stratopause you have the Mesosphere, and after the Mesopause you have the Ionosphere or the Thermosphere.

Does that answer your question?

All very accurate, but no of the spere's are the Sky! that surely must be a visual impression, else the sky starts almost where the ground ends, but very few look down at the sky

sanity is measured by perception of reality, which in turn can be made by the conscious observer, however the conscious observer in turn observed by another observer may change that observers perception of the known universe. That can easily be explained as consciousness as a form of energy, or in fact as simple as the information typed into a computer. How do I know this..basically I talk shite and hope it sounds good.have i changed ur perception yet? if so...I have indeed proved my theory!
