For those who missed the summer Perseids, I think that's correct spelling - there's another meteor shower at its peak tonight, and over the next day or so. As it's clear skies here, could be a good chance to see it tonight, if you're up late.

Brighton - even Hove!

Cloudy all day and now and probably will be tonight. And yes, correct spelling

Sorry it's not brighter down there Steve. This shower's going on for a few days, and today/tomorrow-ish are peaks for it. It's not as frequent as the Perseids/per hour, but should be good.

We've had a good year for night sky gazing this year, with tons of planets, and good showers too.

"I would love to see them but cloudy and London so no chance."

Come to Wiltshire... we'll drive to a field in the middle of Salisbury Plain miles from anywhere so there'll be little light pollution, and then go stargazing.

One day I may just do that.

Lickety - it's not just tonight, watch out over the coming week or so, as this one's gonna be around for a while.

It's clear, with a near crescent moon here, central midlands. Bit of light pollution, but still good visibility.

They're gritting, so may be a frost, if anyone's out there and stripped off.

Looking south over the sea there's not much light pollution. I'll check out the sky tomorrow. I like star gazing etc. I have a telescope.
