There are all sorts of dos and don'ts about this site, the extent of which I don't think I am privy to. One thing I am certain of though, is that these rules are meant to protect members or something close to it. Lately, I've noticed a particular profile advertise needs:
1. A lift to london
2. A return lift from london
3. Someone to come mow my lawn (not a euphemism)
4. A painter for my spare room
5. A lift from A to B right now.
6.......
Is there some rule against these things?
NB: "its their profile; their choice".
"if it bothers you, block them"
Now that's out of the way, let's have a discussion. What do we think of such updates and profile content?

You need to block that profile to stop obsessing 
It's preying on the weak minded I guess who will assume they'll get something as part of the deal then possibly be told to fuck off without getting it. |

I don't know why you would keep an eye on a profile if it annoys you that much if I'm honest. It's a waste of your time and your energy.
As for what they are asking it's not something I would do as I value my privacy and safety more than asking strangers for lifts or to do odd jobs around my home. But each to their own. It may be someone doing it for reaction or someone who actually wants these things to happen and is genuinely asking.Either way it wouldn't bother me and if it did then yes I would just block them. Getting upset over what random people do on here is pointless. |

I'll guarantee if you were a popular poster, preferably female, you'd have gotten a better response than the ones so far.
Yeah, I notice them too. I think good luck to the blokes who genuinely respond to them and kinda think they deserve what they get if they're ripped off in any way. Harsh, I know  |
