Does anyone regret having their tattoo and why?

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

That's none of the reasons I've never had one, I could never decide what to have, or where to have it

Not all that North of North London

Not really, I had a really badly done one on my elbow but getting it covered led to my sleeve which I love. My 2 old tribal ones have been reworked so they didn't look so dated but I never regretted them

Well if I'd known how trendy they'd end up becoming I probably wouldn't have started getting them in the early 80s..but seeing as I'm pretty much covered now.. it's a bit late for any regret..

I’m in the same boat, have a really good idea but then think hmmmm maybe if I did this or they instead, still haven’t got one…

Nope. I was 29 when I got my first and had thought about it/them for years and I love all of them.

Tom used to work at a meat processing plant with a guy who had love and hat tattooed on his knuckles.

It used to say love and hate but he lost his little finger in an accident with a bacon slicer ...

don't regret them, but I had some wording done too small which now looks like morse code, which was obviously the intention.

No. 150 hours and not a single regret. I've had some reworks, and old designs incorporated into new but haven't regretted a single minute of them.

I do slightly yes but then now they are part of me and remind me of certain times in my life.

I've had ex's initials which I've since had covered. Not really regrets more a respect thing for the next partner.

I have one covered that was a fuck up by the tattooist and back in the day I wasn't actually brave enough to say that's not what I wanted. I lived with it for a years though

I have some on each wrist.

I don’t regret them but I’m not overly keen on them.

Tribal on my neck

‘Only god can judge me on forearm’

Both got years ago as i thought they look trendy.

Want the forearm covered up with a bio mechanical tattoo/ and do something on my neck

But cost of living this year has made me hold this off for now

That would be my feelings too. Would prefer to have none. Majority these days are the same bland, black and white clouds and clocks. Stick thirty tattooed people together and they'll be very similar.

Nope, some are a bit dated now but remind me of some good times. I'm lucky that mine were done by awesome artists. My worst tattoo (also my most expensive) was done in Vegas and is wonky as fuck but I had a fun time getting tattooed and even better time directly after.

I’ve had the 2 I didn’t like covered with better

And they both were the start of my sleeves so in a way if I didn’t want them covered up I wouldn’t have the work I have now
