nope as I have no holiday left as had to take it all in April and may to look after my granddaughter. I've asked if we can wear something other than our scrubs though

presently all I can see is dead grass on so called lawns even the s struggle in this heat reminds me of 1995 playing fields like burnt toast If it carrys on badly need rain after this next hot spell. |

Kitchen staff can hose themselves down, wear a wet towel under their chef jackets etc. We can't. Thick shirts and black jeans for us. |

I'm sorely tempted to be honest but consider I wfh I don't feel justified. I'm quite looking forward to the thunderstorms on Wednesday, even though I'm dreading what it will do to my hair. You can't really eat a cornetto in a thunderstorm can you? |
