"According a poll of 7000 people, 98% of those said that they wanted single sex toilets and were able to give reasons why?
Should we follow the many or the few?"
Is it all over the news..? |

"Gloryholes would be more fun in unisex toilets
Hmm yeah I totally love oral while smelling the fragrant aroma of strangers' shit. Sounds great doesn't it. "
Wait until you find out about rimming |

There is a hotel in Morecambe that has unisex toilet's with separate entrances for male and female.
The look on some people's faces when first entering is priceless. |

And can you imagine the spike in r#pe cases & allegations
Hell no, I love seeing ass & titties but let's stick to single sex toilets safer for everyone |

I don't see the problem with mixed toilets. You're just pissing and shitting. If someone is perving report them and theyll be sorted with hopefully. Its definitely more inclusive to non binary people. |

That's a bit of a leap there....?
Me personally no thanks, and to inflict the state of mens toilets onto women sounds a bit grim."
You've not spoken to many women about the state of their toilets I take it

I'm sure toilets were where gloryholes originally came from. |

Same sex toilets have been around for 40 years in Europe. We don't honestly know what all the fuss is about. |

98% were able to give a reason why? Given that pretty much our entire life is one long series of us inventing post hoc reasons for our every thought and action that's not exactly surprising.
I really don't get this whole argument. A sign on the door is not exactly going to deter a rapist. "Ooooh, I really want to r@pe that woman and risk a custodial sentence but that little cartoon figure of a humanoid wearing a skirt is scaring me too much"
It's a toilet. Every single person needs to excrete waste products and I've no idea why the clothes a person is wearing make any difference. Sure, there are inherent risks of being in an enclosed space with a stranger and out of sight from others but that's a risk for everyone, male and female. As above, the single sex sign doesn't offer any protection, you could even argue that the possible presence of men is going to make the rare deviant more wary. The idea of toilets being a safe place is far more a figment of an overactive mind than any reality.

"Yes they should be mixed and make the cubicles secure to avoid peeping eyes
I'd keep urinals as a separate unit block though to avoid exposure "
Just have the outside ones like at a festival lol probably not my best idea |

Ladies always accuse gents of having much smellier toilets, as do gents accuse the ladies in turn. Mixed toilets will not work, would be a stench battleground |

There used to be a nightclub in Newcastle that had unisex toilets and there was never any problems. Women generally used the cubicles and men used the urinals and the only place they’d be together was washing hands. |

Lots of places have them already, personally can’t see any issue with them. The style of them varies from place to place, from sealed in floor to ceiling with own wash facilities or one big room with cubicles one side and tribals away around the corner and back to shared wash facilities. Never had or seen any issues within them, just people doing what they need to do and leave. Had many a laugh with guys as they have to learn to head to pee earlier than last minute because there is a queue
If I have the choice when out of unisex or female toilets, I always pick unisex, normally no queue and in a nicer state. |

Loads of people say they want non binary inclusivity but they don't think about things like this.
I've got no problem sharing a toilet/changing area/sauna with men, women or whoever.
But I doubt it will be for everyone and we need to consider if we want that as part of a genderless society. |

Trust womens toilets are often worse than mens.
As a trans woman I use the womens toilets (have been for last 12 years ) and am often disgusted by the state of cubicles in shopping centres / service stations .
I find the whole toilet arguments are just blow. Up on media and real world people just getting on with their day going for a piss / shit in peace ..
