"I suppose one reason is it’s a gauge to see if you are mutually attracted before you message… "
And I think it is a good thing, as I have put effort into a message many a time to get it deleted or not even read. |

"
What's the meaning of winks?
If you like someone, why not just message them?
I just tend to delete all of them, am I the only one? "
No you're not the only one. It's almost as though it's a 'I can't be bothered to put the effort into sending a message ' signal! |

Don't use them myself, which could explain some things... |

I never look and don't send. Much prefer the direct approach x |

I don't understand the reticence and aversion to be honest.
It's a simple tool that allows for a mild shot across the bow, and perhaps start things from there.
I prefer it to be honest, brings you to their attention, balls in their court, they can peruse your profile and maybe wink back or message, or what is most likely...
delete it and never think of you again |

"Some people are a bit shy in making the first move so I feel winks are good in that respect
Never thought of that reason, but they can't be that shy, to post a pic of their cock! "
Hence I don't have any pics of that nature |

Honestly, I think they are a way of saying “I’m too lazy to send an interesting message so I’ll better wink instead.”
Never send them, never look at them, bulk delete them at the end of the day.
But that’s only me and I understand why people would disagree. |

We like the winks sending or receiving it shows someone's interested or they liked what they seen instead of giving them a message to either just ignore or click that lovely block button |

We like winks and have met a few over the years that have began as a wink.
It's simple in my mind.
Profile one winks profile two checks out the profile one, if they like, they wink back.
Profile one then takes that as a sign to take things to the next stage and send a message, hopefully a good one. |
