Buying a portable air con unit a several years ago for a few hundred quid was absolutely worth it for the handful of days it's like this each year, especially at night to be able to sleep |

At home with two Air Conditioners running since 10am this morning.
House us 18 degrees, 40% humidity. Had to switch off as getting too cold.

If its your own place, spend the extra couple hundred for a fixed split unit, much more efficient and save a fortune on heating the rest of the year. |
