"I love a roast. I do not love cooking them. "

We cook roasts pretty much every Sunday. It’s just a routine we’ve got into. If ‘M’ is home, she’ll cook one and if not ‘D’ will cook one ready for when she gets home from work

Mrs has just gone off to purchase a rotisserie chicken to save us roasting one ourselves for a change.

I think I'll be suggesting salad rather than roast tatties to accompany it today though!

It’s only 19 degrees here - a roast would definitely be on the cards if husband wasn’t at work

I've put a pork ragu to cook in the slow cooker. Should be ready when the temperature drops a bit in 5 hours.

Must be joking.

I have never initiated a Sunday roast meal in my life. Nor any other day of the week for that matter.

Life is too short to waste on cooking.

Had a few spit roasts in my time but not necessarily on Sundays.

Cook the roast let the meat go cold, then make bubble and squeak from the veg and potatoes then have nice bit of salad on the side, that’s my dinner

Maybe just head down to the carvery, you could sit where you liked, and probably get a side of beef , and a Turkey, each to yourselves

The way the price of gas is going maybe soon it'll be the choice between 3hrs roasting or putting the kids through the first year University.

Personally I think University is overrated so pass me the Horseradish sauce.

Love a Sunday roast, but couldn’t handle one in this heat. Had a bbq last night, though. Lush.

My ex used to insist on a Sunday roast even in hot weather. Until, I told him to cook it and he realised just how how the kitchen got with the oven on.

GONE/TIMEOUT (No DMs please)

Cooked one for the first time in months, but for 8pm as was far too hot at lunchtime

As a kid, Sunday roast was 12pm on the dot every single Sunday.

Here we are again, another Sunday and another arguably hotter than last Sunday. So the question is, who’s got a roast cooking today?

On a mooch

No roast today but normally I would be, just not in the oven. Depending on the meat, it’s in the slow cooker and / or air fryer (rotisserie) for everything else, don’t get that dreaded oven heat up then.

Yes, I’ve cooked a full pork sunday lunch for 11 people, aged 3 to 62

Pork, stuffing, apple sauce, mash , roasted, carrots, peas, corn, cauliflower cheese , Yorkshire puddings and proper homemade gravy,

Yes I did do the cooking
