A new study has found that bees and wasps often feature in bad dreams in the UK but sleepers in the US are more likely to dream about toes falling off and playing the tuba.

Experts have claimed that having dreams about stinging insects could point to social anxiety or feeling out of place while dreams about musical instruments could signal a fear of unwanted attention.

Other nations across the world have different types of nightmares as Australian night terrors feature bugs and snakes while Italians tend to have bad dreams about food.

Rex Isap, from Happy Beds, said: "It's important to remember most dreams are just your brain processing feelings from your waking life and are no reason to worry."

How weird is that.....

The anxiety dreams that I tend to have involve needing the loo and the only one available is either disgustingly filthy, or in the corner of a classroom or office full of people, no screen or partition to hide it from view.

My GP prescribed me Champix (Varenicline) to help me give up smoking. This was before vaping was a thing. One side effect was serious porno dreams. Before falling asleep I would think of a girl and a scenario and I would dream such rude dreams, often waking up drenched in sweat and in the morning feeling drained.

Well an old friend called round to see me. She is still drop dead gorgeous. She worked her way through her first degree as a swim suit model. I explained my attempt to give up smoking and the side effects of the tablets. She giggled and asked does she needed an early night too if we were going to have torrid sex all night. Off I went to bed and dreamt of her I did.

She moaned all night. She moaned about my clothes. she moaned about my work. She moaned about my very existence. The next morning I woke up feeling cheated. The next time I met her I told her she owes me a dream.

Anyone comtemplating champix, don't. The porno dreams are fun but the suicidal thoughts when awake are terrifying.
