Why did I think it was such a good idea to teach my Triton cockatoo to speak?!
Its 4am and all I can here from my cosy bed is "Jeeeemmm, Jeeeemmm, I want one!!!" (meaning some breakfast) " dvd on, dvd on, dvd on"
This will now go on until A. I get up and take her some cornflakes or B.I put her dvd on or C. It gets light enough for her to spot the dogs lying on the sofa and she will then mither the living daylights out of them with "come here doggy" ( cue dropping nuts, small toys etc on there heads) followed by "OUT!!" which has my poor pooches running to and from the cage for her entertainment
Hmmmm. . . . .

"this made me smile, how cute
When my parents had one when I was a kid, all it did was swear!"
Mine doesn't swear as I dont, however she does have a vocabulary of about 150 words and phrases which she uses in the correct context. As far as I know Triton's are one of the few parrots that can do this.
She is very entertaining but extremely hard work |

I thought this was going to be a thread about cocktails or cock tales
Then again, I thought it was going to be about a rampant session of sordidness and filth, but alas, no woman has been rogered by two giant cocks |

I have 5 parrots..The citron doesnt talk just clucks and says she is beautiful.. ( not many feathers so scraggy)
The greys are excellant talkers ..Stringing sentences together also. Very clever birds the boy sounds exactly like my OH,the girls like me.
Mine are quiet as a mouse till they know you up then they will call for breakfast..No swearing in this house either . love 'em they soo funny . |
