I thought you said dress up then!!
We go to a few just to be sociable... IF we were to meet someone nice then bonus.. if we then got savagly ravaged somewhere after... double bonus.

Well I went to Barnsley to say hello to you lot, so originally to put faces to names !!! But bonus being I made some bloody good friends (and playmates) while I was there................. xxx xxx |

"why do you go? to pull, to make new friends for another time? To put faces to names? fess up ......
well the first one was to put faces to some of the names in the forum (and to have a bloody good night with a certain person).....the second was more like a reunion of old friends...and again putting names to faces....and to have some fun. Actually the social side of it is brilliant...just great to spend time with like-minded people and anything that comes from it is theoretically a bonus "

I went to my first in October, had been told what great fun they are, also to put faces to names, have a drink, a laugh and (hopefully) to make new friends. I was very nervous as I knew most people there had met at the previous one, but everyone was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Looking forward to the next one! |
