"I use hun as a term of endearment. "
I think terms like that can be contextual and hence easily taken out of context.
They are harmless enough, but I can see where the annoyance might lie for some - just as some guys don't like being called mate, pal, son, bud, buddy or my friend.
I also use similar terms as terms of endearment too - but with people I know or work with.
I can't say I'd use them in a message tho, as they do seem a little over familiar (and corny) in that context. |

I don't want to rant on a Thursday... I want to have a shag... |

personally i have found begining a first message with 'oi wench' works wonders. It gives the message an ambience and a certain 'je ne sais quoi' unobtainable with any other form of greeting. |

I love it when we get a message from a guy which will start with a simple, 'Hi there, how are you, looked at your profile and....... etc etc', my OH will reply and say thank you and when the guys realise they are getting a reply back start with all the sugary sweet compliments ..'You are absolutely gorgeous, stunning, you're amazing' to which my OH always replies, 'thanks very much, Feebs isnt that bad either'.
Just a simple thing but makes me smile every time |
