During lockdown I used to get to supermarket really early as there was a single queue to get in. Took along a 'Peter Storm' rain mac in case weather was bad. Never seen it again. Must have left it in trolley as it was wrapped up. |

Bought an expensive food processor - put it on roof of car while packing something else - drove off - forgot it was there…. Didn’t hear anything go clunk over the loud music in the car and only later it suddenly dawned - hmmmm wheres that bloody mixer….. called Currys to see if anyone handed it in if thats where it fell - nothing |

One pair is probably about 60ft from where I'm sitting right now, just in 4m of murky water! There was a police dive team here over Christmas. They were looking for a murder weapon and I offered them a tenner if they found my shades. Useless twats didn't find either.. |

A St Christopher necklace which belonged to my grandmother. It fell off somewhere at work one day (when temping at a tree surgery place, which was based on a farm) and I never found it. I'm still distraught about it 7 years later |

Left a friend's (very expensive) tripod on a train once.
Was taken into hospital with my only ever asthma attack, went home, had a couple of hours kip, on a train, wedding weekend where I managed to cop for being all night babysitter for too many kids so no sleep 2 nights, busy time - fell asleep on train on way home and forgot the tripod |

A ring my Grandpa gave me. He had it made from a 5 dutchmark coin in Germany when he was stationed there right after the war. He paid a guy there with cigarettes from his rations to melt the coin down and make it into a ring. |
