I lived in Southampton. Early 90s I found these little black things with huge fangs. Tube web spiders . Then spreading from ports due to imports of wood from the canaries previous century. Then came the false widows… |

Dogs and cats are quite useful to clear the spiders on the floor inside the house, in the garden the birds do their best as long as I remember to cut the grass.
If the spider is on the ceiling as long as the wife doesn't see it, it's free to live. Otherwise the Dyson comes out and it ends up in the toilet. |
