I wouldn't really say I have an ideal. Long enough to put it in and reach my gspot which I can reach with my fingers. As for maximum length, that depends on how happy the guy is with not putting it all in. In general, I prefer not too girthy as it's easier. I think outside of extremes in size, a lot of the difference in how it feels depends on shape and how it's used.
