In an ironic way a couple of years ago I started to basically take the piss out of people who say things like "Pacific" instead of specific.
In general conversation I may drop in words like.
Splode (explode)
Citing (exciting)
I could go on..
Initially it was just meant as a I guess patronising joke.
But now I've found myself doing it all the time I fear I have fallen foul of my own sacasm 
I'm interested in people's pinions.

I definitely relate to this. When I started going to gym I called everyone bro in an ironic way, and then I caught myself saying "cheers bro" seriously after asking someone if I could jump in on a machine they were using  |

Oh my gosh I do this all the time! Smalltanas for sultanas, bomatoes instead of tomatoes etc. My kids a thoroughly embarrassed by my very existence... |

We have tee-toes (served both as tomatoes or potatoes once upon a time). Lellow (yellow) and other such embarrassment |

I needed an interpreter for the first 2 years of living with her ladyship for this very reason. Now, much to my chagrin, I use the same words
