Dry squeegee? I shed enough hair to make a wig every week

Leeds + Newcastle

I do the stairs like that as I don't know how the stairs attract it the most.

A rubber glove or side of a cheap flip flop works just as well too

Mr N always runs the sole of his trainer over the carpet before he vacuums. I get scared every time he shows me how much hair he's got up. Then I get scared again when I see what's wrapped round the vacuum

Yes, dry! I thought it would just flick everything up but it doesn't, it drags it into a nice little pile. I do have very short pile carpet though.

I imagine it would work on our carpet. I'm going to give this a go, we've got a squeegee somewhere

Really looking forward to doing the stairs next! so satisfying but also shocking seeing all the shit that's coming out that the vacuum has been missing! My hair is getting to places that I very rarely even walk through too?!

Pretty much every one sheds hair.

Matt Lucas and Duncan Goodhew don't though.

We don't have any carpets.

However I will try it at my dad's to see if it helps with cat hairs.

Squeegeeing the carpets? That is so last year. If you want a real thrill, try dry-spongeing the curtains. Whoooah - talk about a high. Can't believe the muck that came off my velours.

I discovered this about 18 months ago, it’s surprising the amount of hair that comes up

Rubber brooms are good too. Especially if you have pets.
