... Am I right?
Just kidding
Today's shower thought is: how did so many men get to be so self conscious of penis size? Is it something that gets drilled into you by your peers? Media? Porn? When did you first start noticing and thinking about what you're packing?
With women's insecurities, a lot of the stuff we get hung up on are around the things we show people every day: boobs, body fat, facial features etc. And I know that this is because of the ubiquitous messaging around "ideal" female appearances. But guys aren't (to my knowledge) walking around with their dicks out, so how did this get to be such a pinch point, and what did you compare it to?
I also want to add that - speaking for myself - dick size has literally always been the last thing I notice, if I even notice at all. I feel like women often get asked if size matters, but honestly I've never paid it any mind because it's just always felt... good? |

Peers, porn, changing rooms at school.
The bigger the penis, the more masculine you are, the same with body shape/size and fat %.
A simple case of bigger is better, without actually talking to people.
Its only as you get older you realise its all just bullshit and you should just be happy in your own body.

It's not something I've ever really thought about because it's not something I can do anything about even if I wanted to. I
've also not had any complaints about my size with partners (humble brag) so if they're happy, I really shouldn't have anything to worry about.
I think porn does have a lot to answer for but men are also aware the women talk so if one woman isn't happy about his size, everyone in their social group would know which could lead to ridicule and it also doesn't help that's used as an insult which leads to further insecurities. |

Alsorts of places really. Same as it is for women being body conscious.
Im average at best. Never a complaint but had compliments.
When I'm with someone, I don't give a shit. When I'm not, that's when the doubt creeps in |

Mr average here, always been a believer that if you know how to use what you have, it's not an issue. Would I like an extra inch, of course. I'd also like to win the euro millions, but happy without that too |

Of course. Ain't about the size of the boat, it's about the motion in the ocean |

I've just always disliked the size of mine. I'm a grower not a shower and I like to call my oral skills compensation for my own insecurities about the time they'll have with the D |

I have never discussed a guy's penis size with my social group. Or anyone |
