I think that those would be opinions or rather, conjecture. Not reports. The latest report I had was the weather. It did not mention the pros or cons of female leadership. It was also conjecture tho. Go figure… |

"Reports that say if Vladimir Putin was a lady called Valerie then there would be no war. Apart from Maggie and Bouidacia who was the last female invader.... Women do not cause wars, men do"
This might be because men squeezed women out of virtually all the ruling for thousands of years. They haven't had many opportunities to start wars so we don't really have comparable data sets for men and for women. |

Next you’ll be telling us it’s mens fault because we invented guns, bombs and nukes
Try not to blame the decisions of a few on everyone
I’m sure the young boys in the trench’s of WW1 didn’t want to be there just as much as the widows at home didn’t want them to
There’s a big push at the moment for division. Men vs women. Black vs white. Gay vs straight. In the end, there’s only one division. And it’s those with power and wealth, and those without |

I don't think either Maggie or Boudicca invaded anywhere. They defended against an invader. |

Elizabeth the first did a pretty good job of repelling the Armada. Google her Tilbury speech. Queen Victoria firmly encouraged a couple of conflicts. The powerful encourage war, not necessarily invasions but they don't shy away from warfare, man or woman |

For all her faults, Maggie didn’t invade anywhere…in fact I’d go as far as to say had she been in power today, she would have done more when Russia annexed Crimea…the world stood by and did nothing. Old saying, you reap what you sow |

I can't blame Thatcher for the Falklands. She reacted to foreign aggression.
Likewise Boudicca was reacting to some pretty strong provocative actions by the Romans.
Women don't start wars, but they do finish them. |

Historically around the globe Women in Positions of power have been more likely to start a conflict than Men.
But this is very likely because they were pushed into it by aggressive contemporise who viewed them as weak for being a woman and would test their borders.
So the entire concept of which gender is more aggressive as a world leader is flawed.
I mean just Russia where Putin is from had Ivan the Terrible and Catherine the Great... Both had their share of violence |

What's gender got to do with war though? At the end of the day it will mostly be men my age who fight on the front lines. No one really wins. |

read "reports that say" as "Boris Johnson said" and you get the scope of the original assertion and see where it came from |

Are we talking general British History or?
Generally the few that could be considered invaders were the Empress Matilda, Eleanor Of Aquitaine, Mary Stuart and Aiofe |
