Maybe. But for every 100 people that view me, I may get 1 message.
So I’m in no rush to speed up that moment when I have to say ‘no thank you’ to a guy. |

There’s a very small % of fab users that use the forums, so while your participation may bring about a few more visitors to your profile, I’d still use the full functionality of Fab’ to interact. |

Despite being on here since the very early days, I only actually discovered forums during lockdown. Wish I'd discovered them years ago as I've made some fantastic contacts from further afield than I would normally search or even consider. These are invariably the people who respond to my postings privately, and not publicly. It's now just a question of the timing being right for us to get together. I'd never have got this attention nationally with the aid of forums. |

Being active on the forums can definitely make you more visible and can lead to new friendships (including lurkers who don’t post but who have seen you on the forums).
But as others have said, only a section of Fab use the forums so if you rely on it you’ll miss out on a lot of good people who don’t use them. |
