We often have a discussion on racism. Not sure how many of you know of Luther Burrell and what he's said in the last days about his experiences in rugby. Just listened to Martin Offiahs comments.. What a brilliant interview. More power to him and Luther.

The one that was so inspiring was the audio interview with Burrell and offiah which was on Talksport.

What I was surprised about, as someone whose been in and around rugby teams for 40 years... Is the so called "banter" and being called a "slxxx" or "nixxxr" in bater with team mates. I hate the banter word its just used as an excuse.

As you say have often found that banter is used as an excuse if comments are not taken the way they may have been meant.

Its only banter if both parties take it as banter
