Like during the week, I'm only saying generally as I know at Christmas and other times of the year it possibly doubles in a normal week, then some months barely anything.
I'd say I drink equivalent bottle and half of wine a week. |

Daily. Enjoying a glass of rum punch atm but when I run out of ingredients then I'm stopping for a bit. Have a bottle of Pimms to tide me over then i'll only drink at work. |

Don't drink during the week, just 2 or 3 weekends a month when I go out drinking, it's usually a lot when I go out as I drink to get d*unk only. I'll drink double gins but we'll all get a round of shots in with our own drinks so sometimes 3 or 4 shots each with one round of drinks. |

2 bottles of beer on a sat night in a club then drive home. Nothing rest of the week. Lost 3 stone in last 12 months by cutting down on beer so not gonna put it back on. Drink about 2 litres of water every day |

"Apparently if you drink equvalent to 4 pints of beer etc a week you are now offically an alcoholic i had friend who went to few AA meetings and thats what they were told "
People are drinking less, AA need to protect their phoney baloney jobs… |

I think that’s rubbish.
Surely alcoholism is a ‘need’ to drink, which could be more or less in quantity.
I have a glass of Guinness with my dinner most nights.
If I haven’t been to the supermarket and don’t have any, then I don’t drink |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |

I'm sorry, that's utter gibberish.
Alcoholism is about dependency, not volume. |

Not much. I don’t really have a weekly total. If I go out on a night out I’ll have quite a few. Then I might not drink for 2 or 3 months. Sometimes I’ll have a gin or wine at home but not often. It I want one I have one. Bit like smoking. If I want one I’ll have one but it could be weeks/months. |

Occasionally I'll have some wine or gin, maybe once every 6 weeks. I'm a terrible lightweight so will feel crap the next day after only 2 or 3 glasses of wine. That's why I don't do it more frequently. |

Typically don't drink througout the week, unless out for a meal etc might have a glass. Do enjoy a few in the beer gardens over the summer. But I don't tend to drink at home at all anymore. |

On average about 6 pints and 3 bottles of wine a weekend and nothing midweek.
If out then much more.
Love a drink

Usually have a night out for my birthday where I’ll drink to excess but generally I don’t drink, I won’t drink alone at home but may have a drink if I have some decent company of an evening which is a rare occurrence |

I have a glass of wine every night along with my evening meal, at other times it depends on how good the company is.
Health tip:- documented fact, check it out, a glass of red wine every day dissolves the fats that caused hardening of the arteries. Cheers everyone! |

Well it seems I'm in the minority here, hopefully everyone is being truthful, I know the amount I consume is what is considered alcoholic as someone has alluded to, I know it's not good but it's what I like... |

I wouldn't worry about it too much op. If you believe in the teachings of the good book, have a look at 1st Timothy, chapter 5, very 23, and by doing as Paul suggests there, it should save you from having to spend all eternity stokering up the boilers for old nick. |

"I had a g&t the other night, can't remember when I had one before that. I'm still going through my minis I got 2 Christmas' ago! "
I've got bottles of stuff from my 30th. I keep buying/receiving more though and it just gets buried ever more |

I'm not very clued on the good book, however I've heard of this verse before and I think what the metaphor is trying to capture is that sometimes you should use things that could be seen as bad if it means the usual is going to somehow not do you any good. |

I enjoy a beer after work. Rarely more than two.
Occasionally treat myself to a single malt from the top shelf.
Overall it's hard to say definitively but a 12 pack of ales will usually last me a little over a week |

"More than the current recommended government guidelines, whatever they are just now?
But, as it turns out, less than most members of the government! "
Based on the Partygate tales, I am guessing there is a vast chasm of a difference between the government guidelines and the government's example. |
