Following the 'Saddest Day' thread, I thought I'd like to start a thread/randomly air that even though losing my Grandad is the saddest thing, I'm thankful for being lucky enough to have had both sets of biological grandparents until the age of 24. Many friends haven't had this pleasure and I can't imagine what that must be like.
Even though I wasn't as close to my Grandad as I am to the one I still have (he wasn't a great talker when it came to the past) I've recently realised just how much I'm like him. Probably more than any of my other grandparents.
What are you lucky/thankful to have? |

I'm lucky to have my little grandson living with me - lucky that he wasn't taken into care that is! I thank my lucky stars that I have been able to give him a good home and have a good job to support him. |

I'm grateful for loads
My daughter most of all
My family, they are my rock
My friends they are good listeners
My guide dog she makes my life a lot easier
And of course you lot, a few of you even make me laugh and for that I am always grateful  |

Imagine your friend is telling you your problem... and what your answer to them would be. Then listen to your own answer and use it for yourself. |

I know I am very lucky. My mum and dad worked very hard to make sure me and my sisters grew up somewhere safe and provided the best they could afford for us, we have great memories to look back on.
I have some health problems but they are not that bad.
My life at the moment is in a very good place an I am loving it x |

Lucky to have the most amazing little girl.. truly blessed with her. Lucky to have brilliant friends and family. Recently came across a man who has truly just knocked me for six.. i feel extremely lucky and very fortunate right now |
