You can take a jump to the left (or indeed a step to the right) to get around them.
Dodging the stupid flagpoles or idiots holding their phones up is trickier.

Mr here. I went to V festival in the late 90s. I’m 6’ 2” and a random woman, who couldn’t have been more than 4’, couldn’t see the bands at all. She asked if she could go on my shoulders. I was happy to help. |
