I went to see the new Elvis film last night….. I was blown away! 10/10 fantastic film, I would highly recommend it to you all. I didn’t know too much about him before, I have since downloaded his greatest hits. The music and the story is powerful

If you’ve seen it, what rating do you give it?

I was exactly the same. But now I’ve seen his story, I understand his message and music a bit more now.

I have always loved his voice (absolutely incredible) and most of his music.

I still have not seen the film but I can’t wait to see it.

Unfortunately I’ll go on my own and I will need to find a cinema near me that has a morning session as I can only go during school hours.

I'm a big Elvis fan - have been since I was a child listening to my parents' 33's. It's a good film, but it's Hollywood - it's an Elvis impersonator. I think I would have preferred an actor who sounded nothing like Elvis so that the audience can fill in their own mental soundtrack.

2 a penny about his life and music story. I would bet that their was nothing new to people. That fans/people did not already know about him.

I loved it. It hits all the right spots.

Visually stunning, definitely one for the big screen.

Great attention to detail, clothes, hair styles and support actors.

I may go again as lots going on on screen.

I'd give it a 1O out of 10.

Not a fan of his music but his story must be fascinating so I might go. I felt the same with Rocket Man and loved that!

Saw it last evening, man what a great movie. Austin Butler absolutely nails the Elvis role, and Tom Hanks is creepily good at Colonel Tom Parker. Fantastic music sequences and soundtrack of course. The end sequence is especially poignant.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I saw it the week it came out. I thought it was stunning performances from Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, and Yola as Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

I'll watch it again as I'm sure I missed things.

Even though there is nothing new in the film (and you could see the poetic license on some of the event timelines) it is beautifully constructed and the cinematography is gorgeous.

Saw it the first week it was out. Best film I've seen in a long time. And very sad.

The start was a tad wierd. I did enjoy it. But wasn't as good as Bohemian rhapsody or rocketman. Was a good insight into the legend.
