A lot of the people that clean up after festivals are volunteers, and not necessarily paid for it.
I’ve been to plenty of large motorbike rallies/shows where we mostly tidy up after ourselves. So to me it’s just selfish behaviour. |

I’ve been to plenty of large motorbike rallies/shows where we mostly tidy up after ourselves. So to me it’s just selfish behaviour. "
I didn’t realise they were volunteers. I remember reading about a company that runs the cleanup operation and assumed they paid people. |

I’ve only been to no camping festivals. Even then I didn’t drop litter. Surely the festivals make enough money to pay for cleaning services. |

I know at other festivals they get a ticket in return for cleaning up. No actual funds involved. |

"Lazy just laze I just say to people it cost you in the long run as the council have to employ some one to pick it up and you pay for that out of you tax. "
The council don't pay festival clean up. They do however pay for the clean up after travellers have wreaked havoc wherever they decide to annihilate, street litter, fly tipping etc. Makes me fucking sick that people just gives zero shits. |

There is a McDonalds nearbye & as you drive down nearbye roads you see all the empty packaging & cups on the road & verge.Just chucked out of car windows.Why don't they take it home & put in their bin ? |

Where i live the council just passed funding to 'organise' the litter picking volunteers who set up during lockdown. I do worry they are now part of the problem as they deal with vast amounts of fly tipping, canabis farm dumps and student end of tenancies.. I think the city would be engulfed if they stopped  |

I work opposite a McDonald's. I think they should write the numberplate on the bag with a view to "if you're rubbish gets found you get fined" coz the amount of fucking rubbish is diabolical.
Seriously we have cars pull onto our car park, open the door, dump their rubbish out and drive off.

You can see rubbish everywhere these days. From broken furniture and mattresses on the side of the road to empty takeaway boxes on the pavements. You even see them throwing stuff out of the windows whilst driving. Some people are just despicable and also the law is not tough enough or at least not enforced well. |
