Think I might fire up the bbq at lunchtime - any suggestions before I head to the butchers?

But of course, got to support your local traders and the product is so much better!

I’m thinking get the lamb and do something creative with the mint from my garden

Spatchcocked chicken is great on the barbecue, no rotisserie required.

Butterflied leg of lamb cooked on the barbecue is delicious.

Tried my first Cumberland on the bbq last week, I was a bit concerned about it cooking evenly but happy to report it was delicious

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Spin your cock!

(Or get a chicken for the rotisserie attachment)

And beef. All the beef.

Basically get a cow and wazz it up there.

Introduction to the ladies who come to your barbecue:-

The butchers chat up line,

"Please to meet you, meat to please you."

This thread ought to go down well, no pun intended, with all the fanatical animal rights activists, and the vegan/veggie brigade on here, as well as those trying to stop global warming caused by cows farting, in their quest to try to get us all to eat less meat.

Paradise, Herts

Now I know this sounds really weird and I thought that too but……

I went to a bbq recently and they did kebab sticks with banana wrapped in smoked bacon on them. Eewwwwwwee I hear you all say (as I did!) but wow they worked!!
