There are plenty of women... We can't help whose face we like though and when someone isn't doing well, on here, we get the blame for being shallow or other such nonsense ... There are some beautiful bodies on here... Male top pics are still mostly fabbed by other men... Be patient... Attraction is a funny thing and better to be fucked by someone that definitely finds you attractive than someone just fucking you because they can, no? |

In my experience, women I have personally been with always claimed to have no issues with a dad bod, until they experienced a more defined physique, they then seem to change their minds.
Part of me feels like women just say these things because they feel insecure with a man in good shape, being with a dad bod makes them feel at ease and sometimes better than the man if the woman is in better shape.

As most users are male, and going by my own fabs, I'd say most of top pics are voted for by men. So it's meaningless to me.

It's not really controversial, it's just confirmation bias in action.
Women who have said they have 'no problem' with a dad bod, then meet you (who hasn't got one) then say they prefer a defined body?
Well, that's pretty obvious, as that's likely one of the reasons they met up with you.
How about the ones that haven't met up with you, because they 'prefer' a dad bod?
I've met plenty of women that have preferences either way, which is what I'd expect. Same as some guys like slim women and some like larger women. |

I completely feel inadequate, insecure and self conscious with someone with a better physique than mine. But that's a pretty large percentage of people. But when that person does their best to make me feel desired, desirable and sexy, that feeling hides deep whether they've got a rock hard six pack and killer thighs, a "dad bod", a "rugby build", a "jelly belly", are slim, or any other label or description.
I tend to be attracted to a certain build of man, but I'm not unattracted to other builds of man, because attraction, for me, isn't that black and white.
It is possible that there are more women like me out there than your statement would suggest. |

--Not to me. Why? I know it's fun and it's all about getting laid here guys, and I may really like the appearance of many of them tbh, but I just don't quite go for the mentality behind it all. It's like 'dad dancing' and 'dad jokes'. I just don't want to be there I think! There's something so 'given up' about it all that it gives me the collywobbles (I don't mean fitness I mean sharpness in some kind of way). I can certainly understand it all in the context of family life (children essentially), but not as any kind of boast outside of that tbh, esp from some of the 'single' (ahem) male chancers on here...
Also, the idea that being a dad somehow effects the body the way being a mum does (didn't 'mummy tummy' come first?), well that's just slightly 'off' for me too. Pooh, I know. We are all just getting older, that's the truth of it. Most people on Fab find their 'types' attractive in a pretty general sense I've found anyway. --pt |
