How many chances do you give someone on here?

If all has been going good and arrangements are made to meet and then it gets cancelled...

How many cancellations does it take to say "this is never going to happen" and move on?

They might get a second chance if they communicated clearly.

If they were rubbish, that's it... Next!

Secret hideaway in the pennines

I guess it depends on the circumstances of the cancellation.

Life goes on outside of fab and shit happens sometimes.

If was just a no show, then they wouldn't get another chance

It depends. If I deem it to be a genuine excuse I give a second chance. If I think it's bs I give zero chances.

2 chances as life does tend to get in the way sometimes.

Also depends, you get a feel if you’re being spun a yarn, if I feel that then I’m off sooner.

In a town full of colours

As I only arrange to meet fab social friends when I'm in their area anyway its usually once then it's turned into maybe plans.

Real life friends can cancel as many times as they like as I do it to them as we all have super busy lives and are comfortable with each other

I would take one cancellation as genuine but any more and it's done. Also if I get the vibe they are lying about the first cancellation, it will also be done.

Depends but it’s 2 max

If someone gives me plenty of notice, and a rescheduled plan, I’ll give them the 2nd chance

Otherwise, no. I live by this motto

If they wanted to, they would

If somebody has genuinely done something wrong, we would probably give them a second chance if they acknowledged their mistake (as we would hope to if we did something wrong) depending on what they did.

If they didn't offer any apology, I (Luke) might give them a second chance but it's unlikely Hannah would.

I tend to give a couple of chances if they have made their best effort to tell me as much in advance as possible. But two cancellations and I just think there is no point as their life is too complicated.

Get let down all the time. Usually allow a reschedule or two if they give me notice, but any banter stops until they’ve met me. Anyone who just doesn’t turn up is blocked

Twice. Within reason I might stretch to 3. Circumstances and trust go along way for me to have patience with people. I lose my patience when I lose trust.

"Maybe twice J x "

I think it fair to say that the genuine peoples will turn up for a first meet. Its the reason why they are here, otherwise what's the point?

If you've been getting on well, then possibly give them a second chance, but mess up again. report them as no shows and block.

Totally depends on the situation and the person. Hopefully there’s enough of a connection pre meet to be able to have an opinion on a person as to whether they’re reliable and trustworthy.

But always give a second/third (and final) chance cos I’m good like that
