I boiled some pasta earlier and it went all mushy after I put it in the colander, like mashed potatoes, it ruined my night and is still there on my mind. I blanched it through but just turned out like not how ive ever had. I mean I ate some but I just couldn't eat any more and loathe food waste...

Ate at his restaurant once, pretty decent to be honest

An Im not trying to sound arrogant but I know how to cook too, or at least I thought so

Overcooked pasta tastes so bad haha

Just boil for 12 mins and drain then add into the sauce and fry in that for a minute

I often overcook my gnocchi, but this week I boiled it for about 2 minutes and then pan-fried it with a home made sauce and it was perfect, delicious and not mushy at all.
