So, I like getting botox on my forehead and crows feet. However, it's only lasting 5 or 6 weeks, when each practitioner I've been to says it should be 4 to 6 months and that's what it says all over the Internet too. Anyone else not getting as long as that?
2 of the practitioners have said its because I'm an ex bodybuilder. Seriously? It's been years and years since I last lifted, how does that make the muscles in my forehead too strong for botox?
Please don't judge, it's my face, and I like using creams, lotions and potions to keep it looking nice, and at nearly 50, I like a bit of extra help round the eye area and forehead. Just interested in finding out if anyone else is getting less than half the "usual" amount of time before a top up? |

I can’t talk from experience, sorry, and good for you if you want to have it.
Just hoping the bump back to the top opens this up to a new audience that might be able to help |

"Do you get the top up done after the initial Botox?
I have had it in the past for my migraines, with the top up it lasts a good 6 months, without not as long.
Mrs"
Yes, I last had it on 1st April, then top up 2 weeks later, and then I contacted her as I was getting movement back 3 weeks later and had another top up, my forehead is now moving again. The initial results are great, it just doesn't last very long.
I'm going to fully registered practiioners using the "good" stuff, not the cheaper imported stuff from China. |
