"Yeah and she made me do my homework first! "

I don’t believe in homework but my wife forces my oldest to do it.

I changed out my uniform and my mum had a snack ready for me while I watched the funnies. Oh the good old days

If come home raid the cupboard and watch kids TV. Then I’d do my homework in the school library next morning with my mate copying.

Nothing wrong with that. When my eldest was at nursery he was asked his favourite TV program and answered with Countdown. They were so surprised they made a big point of telling me when I picked him up

I do not. My mother rarely let me play out, especially on a week day.

Remember it fondly. Straight in, changed and out to play in the street till your name was shouted to go in for your T. Wolfed down as quick as possible. Homework done then back out. This time allowed to go further than the street. The street lights coming on was the que to head home. The good old days eh.

Nope my parents were always at work from when I was about 10 so I went home to an empty house.

I would go straight into the kitchen, make myself some sandwiches, jump over the back of the sofa straight into a sitting position and watch TV until the 6 o'clock news came on.

Mum would get home around then.

All still in my school uniform.

All my friends lived in the next villages over so I didn’t have anyone to go out with anyway after school and therefore stayed in uniform.

Tuesdays and Fridays were different though when it was Air Cadets night and got into my rather spiffing uniform for that

Nope.

Got home and pretty much got ignored.

Didn't have playing out clothes as I wasn't allowed to play out.
