We got into a conversation with multiple couples in a normal social atmosphere.. you be surprised it's way less then your normal. Kind of makes you feel like a freak. |

When I was part of a couple, we had sex almost daily for over ten years   . This was a vanilla relationship.
He would (jokingly?) call me sex mad/a sex pest/a perv on many occasions   . Though he seemed fine with it and wasn't always the one instigating it. It honestly felt equal and I did ask him, as was concerned that the saying, "many a true word said in jest" was coming in to play.
We split up many years ago, so I have had waaaaaaay less sex  .
Someone I met on here and saw for years made similar comments and I've recently realised that those words are in the back of my mind and affecting my actions/inactions. As if I like someone, I will (naturally to me) want to have sex with them but don't want them to feel that's all I want, so tend to suppress it. Rather than jumping their bones and turning conversations sexual more often than I want to   |

It’s got less for us as the kids have got older. They are at the age now where they stay up late and often still awake when we go to bed but not old enough to be out of the house doing their own thing yet. Plus hubby now works shifts so often we’re not even in bed at the same time.
