I just don't feel like I would enjoy it... Hundreds of pounds to sweat and smell and sleep in dirt and not have a decent wash?
The clean freak side of me is hyperventilating. |

This is showing my age. I went to the very first one. When it was called Pilton. You could pitch your tent in front of the stage back then.
I drove past the festival today. they employ more people wearing Hi vis than than they had paying customers back then in 1970.
Luckily I spotted the police speed camera that was set up at the bottom of the hill. As the speed was reduced to 30 from 50. That is going to catch a few motorist out. |

"No decent rock or metal music "
Not true.
I've seen many, many rock and metal bands across a myriad of Glastonbury stages over the last couple of decades.
But if just rock and metal is your bag then yes I would say go to Download or Bloodstock instead. |

There probably is a handful of acts on over a weekend I'd want to see. They are normally all on different stages at similar times. But you don't know that until months after youve bought a ticket.
It's a no from me |

Been once, weather was shit, hate camping, but...
There's no other festival like it. Over 100 stages! Would love to go back with the kids. So much to see and do aside from the main stages.
The performing arts, the installations, the hippy areas, but...
The ticket prices are eye watering. Kids go free tho. |

"Went to Reading years ago, Glastonbury was free hippie festival then I think, not really interested in it "
Glastonbury has never been free. The first festival in 1970 cost £1 and included free milk |
