Revellers heading to the event this weekend have been warned that a wild feline is prowling the Worthy Farm site in Somerset.

Reg Baker, part of the build crew at the legendary music festival, claims that he saw a puma running across a field and claims that big cats living in the surrounding countryside is common knowledge.

Baker said: "I am part of the build crew at Glastonbury. I was walking around the site when I spotted a large black animal running free across the field.

"At first I thought it was a dog, but then I realised its running movement was different. From the shape, I'm pretty sure it was a puma."

He added: "They're common knowledge among the long-term workers and generally harmless - either hiding or leaving when the crowds arrive.

"Glasto is so big, it is possible a big cat could go undetected while trapped inside."

Be on the look out if you are going....sleep well in your tent....

Is that due to all the Cougars already there?

Leeds

I’ve worked on a couple of festival crews and there’s an awful lot of drugs being consumed so I’d factor that into Reg’s report
