Or wished you had the opportunity to see.
I know I've been terribly guilty of this line "there'll be another chance" when not finding the funds or time to see bands I wished I had.
Foo Fighters are a huge one I could absolutely kick myself for.
I'd have loved to have heard Karen Carpenter sing.
Kate Bush is on my list to make the effort if the chance ever arises.
Taylor Hawkins death rammed it home to me to take the opportunities, find the funds, find the time. Make the effort.
I'm heading to Download next year and I don't doubt there will be plenty there to be able to say "yes, I did it"
We never know what the future holds eh. |

I've always dreamed of seeing Rage Against The Machine since I was in high school. I was always too young and lived too far away from any of their last gigs in the UK.
Finally though, they are playing in Edinburgh this coming August and I genuinely almost shit with excitement! Sold my Green Day tickets immediately to fund RATM tickets and I'm not sad about it!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
I saw just about everyone I could have as soon as I could.
Yes, I'd have liked to see Queen, Zeppelin, original AC/DC, but it was never a possibility.
The one band I haven't seen and considered for a bit was Kiss. But there were practical issues, as well as really expensive tickets, so I haven't. As it stands, I've seen everyone I would ever REALLY want to. |

Kate Bush is awesome. Loved her since I was little.
It's gutting ain't it. Like, I'm glad I've got your music to listen to, but fuck I'm devastated you're no longer around to make more. Then I feel guilty for being devastated, coz they're probably happier dead than alive. |

My main "I wish I could have seen" band was Queen. My mum saw them at Wembley and I will never get over my jealousy. I would also love to see Stone Roses with my dad.
Bands I'd like to see and still could are Bring Me the Horizon, Bullet for my Valentine, Slipknot, and I really want to see Skindred again after seeing them at Download this year.
OP U really want to go to Download next year too. Its the 20th anniversary and the extra day of music is exciting enough. Can't wait to see what else they announce! |

My ultimate dream is finally happening on Thursday - Alanis Morissette. I’ve been waiting since 1995 (the only person who would come with me was always working abroad when she’s played!!). Not sure what I’ll do first - cum or piss my pants

She's simply wonderful ain't she.
The Killers are totally on my hit list, manics tho, nah, I dunno what it is but I've never really found anything about them enjoyable. Yes I know plenty of songs and can sing along to them but there's just something about them that's off for me.

I had the opportunity to watch Van Halen live, had the ticket and everything.. but it clashed with the first day of Army basic training so I obviously did that instead, fully intending to see them next time….
Only they very rarely toured the U.K. and certainly not with Sammy Hagar singing… I never got the opportunity again |

Its working out about the same to take my daughter to Bulgaria to see Maiden this year compared to Download. Especially as she hates camping so I couldn't drink and would have to drive each day.
There were only a handful of bands we both wanted to see on this year's lineup. |

"Or wished you had the opportunity to see.
I'm heading to Download next year and I don't doubt there will be plenty there to be able to say "yes, I did it"
We never know what the future holds eh."
Definitely going back to download, as you say, you never know when a band will play their last gig.

We had to leave live8 early and missed Pink Floyd.
Turned down tickets to Queen “because Knebworth sounded too far to go” but we did see Prince’s last uk gig at the end of his 21date O2 show… he invited the 1st 2000 back to a private after party gig next door at Indigo … but we had a baby sitter so had to miss that one

I wish I'd seen Gary Moore and Joe Cocker. Queen would have been great but unrealistic given my age when they last performed with Freddie, which is not the case with the first two I mentioned.
I wish I had seen The Blessing, but unfortunately they absolutely bombed despite being one of my favourite bands ever.
I would like to see Elton John again but the London gig is sold out now and he probably won't do any more. I'd like to see Eric Clapton again before he stops performing.
I'd like to have seen Iron Butterfly but I didn't know they existed at the time of their last concert.
I'm pleased to say I got to see my favourite band Huey Lewis & The News seven times, though sadly missed their last London concert in 2013. They are unlikely to perform again as Huey lost his hearing a few years ago. Luke |

Problem is these days you may need to take binoculars to actual SEE the bands because of the crazy stadium size gigs.
Last night I watched on YouTube Pink Floyd at Earls Coat in 1994..Pulse tour. The "show" with lights etc and sound was incredible.. But..... They had two drummers, two guitarists, two keyboard players and three girl singers and more lights than Blackpool illuminations. It was for me much too polished.
I saw the 4pce Pink Floyd in 1970 in much smaller hall with just a oil and water slides light show and at a time when the sounds they were creating were so different I just hadn't heard anything like it before...give me the "Careful with that Axe Eugene" days anytime. |

"I really wish I'd got to see Rory Gallagher and AC/DC with Bon Scott."
I saw Rory with Taste at Creams Farewell concert and in late 1980s in Cardiff... I think he wore the same checked shirt lol. Outstanding.
I saw ACDC very first UK performance in a pub in London.. The "schoolboy" was a huge talking point in the audience. Read about them in Melody Maker so we went along. They were good but I never expected them to be as big as they became |

"Problem is these days you may need to take binoculars to actual SEE the bands because of the crazy stadium size gigs.

Go and see Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets. As close to pre- Dark Side Floyd as you'll get. |

"Meatloaf, Tom Petty , AC/DC back in the day
I'm incredibly thankful that I saw Meat Loaf 3 times (2nd time was Wembley when he collapsed and 3rd was the replacement gig so they only really count as one combined)"
Well I am beyond jealous. The last time he played here clashed with a wedding I had to attend. It was the world's worst wedding, always raging I missed him |

"Or wished you had the opportunity to see.
I'm heading to Download next year and I don't doubt there will be plenty there to be able to say "yes, I did it"
We never know what the future holds eh."
Mr here ive still got a ticket sitting for ozzy and judas priest, no idea if its ever gonna go ahead or what |

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’ |
All American Rejects have a good back catalogue.....
Par Benetar - will she ever do a gig? I think she is amazing
Would have liked to see Ric Ocasec (sadly RIP now...)
Seen Whitesnake pre-poodle perm & poodle perm. Ha-ha. Tawney Kitten took Coverdale to the cleaners & back.
Seen Balck Sabbath. That was my ultimate tick off list. Ticked.
Tesla maybe? Are they a tourin'? A bit of "Psychotic Supper" to play when you are pissed off is just what the doctor orded!!! Honest! Trust me.....

Oh I forgot to say Tesla "Magnetic Resonance" all the tracks off them are amazing live - "Modern Day Cowboy" & "Ez Come EZ Go" have the best guitar solos! Saw them when they supported Def Leppard. They blew them off the stage! |

I love listening to the ribbed album live but that is my favourite NOFX Album.
Where did you see BR? I think they are meant to be playing Blackpool in August but I’m unsure I can get over … gutted. |

Off to see Saxon in November. Most bands now that i want to see tickets are seriously expensive.
Last time i saw Iron Maiden not at a festival my ticket worked out at 120 quid mark plus the journey and parking and the rip off price of a beer at the venue and crap food vendours think it worked out that i had a 200 quid day.
Maiden where fantastic btw.
But 200 quid i could at the time fly and stay in bucharest with my other half we did that the week after for 180 quid.
Would love to see Floyd wont happen though. |

Wish I went to stage where Prodigy were playing one year at T In the park..
Wish got to go see Audio s l a v e.
Also, had chance to see Placebo few years back but didn't and think they've sold out already
Nothing but thieves were doing a small gig near me before they got a bit more famous, regret not going to that as well.. |

And just booked Black Stone Cherry & The Darkness |
