This is appropriate, I’ve just started to try yoga. What a great time to have picked this up.
I don’t have a favourite yet, just getting into it and don’t know all the names.
But the lotus, I can do it and sustain that one without falling backwards. So, I’ll use that as my benchmark. |

"I prefer to do movement meditation as holding certain poses will trigger pesky joints
Think yoga in dance "
Sometimes I practise kundalini yoga which is lots of movement combined with breathing. |

"It's yoga day today. Anyone else done their sun salutations?
What's your favourite yoga pose? Mine is probably pigeon at the minute. "
Omg gonna have to do some sun salutations then! X
My favourite pose is dancer pose.
Tho feeling wise, I’d say either pigeon or extended puppy |

Thank you for that recommendation, definitely something I'd be interested in, minus the chants though |

Yeah, there's a lot of chanting in kundalini. I watched a video on YouTube about the chants once and how it affects the nervous system. It was quite interesting. Also, some of it is more singing than changing which has lots of benefits. |

Warrior 2 is probably my favourite in terms of benefits for me - tight hips etc. I need to be well loosened up first though to be able to hold it properly.

Sirasana - ‘headstand’ held for one minute each morning. My favourite
Awkward chair pose - not my favourite.
The wheel - a potential new favourite
Crow - working on it. |

"My daughter enjoyed a yoga session yesterday with pygmy goats. They were jumping on her back"
I need this!
In fact I think pygmy goats should be incorporated into every exercise class. |
